One of the first college projects I ever worked on. I had to make a movie poster, while also incorporating a hand-drawn element. At the time, I was still heavily inspired by the VHS cassette theme, so I wanted to incorporate that into it. The idea for the movie was simple; A digital, evil version of a man begins to haunt him and cause mayhem after an experiment goes wrong. An attempt at uploading his consciousness to a computer is messed up from a virus, creating this digital counterpart. I played around heavily with the glitch effects, offsetting parts of items and including the red/blue shifts, complete with the heavy static. For the hand-drawn portion, I scanned a picture of scribbles in my sketchbook and placed it in the background. For a project so early on in my career, it went fairly well.
